BN 6196 is parked at Dale St. Shops in St. Paul, MN for some maintenance work. This Phase 2 SD9 was built in September 1957 as CBQ 449 and when retired by BN went to the Port of Tillamook Bay.
The train doesn’t go there anymore — Deadwood, South Dakota. Three BN SD9s were tied up at the end of the branch on Aug. 31, 1979, and the line was later abandoned.
